Special project "Ukrainian Economy Development Strategy on Overcoming the Crisis and Achieving Average European Socio-Economic Indices"

Year - 1995

Purpose: Substantiation of conceptual framework, development of nation-wide system for strategic planning and efficient management of socio-economic processes in Ukraine for ensuring fundamental changes in economics that will provide for innovative development of the country.

• State Committee on Critical Technologies and Informatization at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;
• Commission on Economic Policy and Management of National Economy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Project Manager: Member of Informatics Department of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Associate of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, professor Lev Gassanov.

Primary results: On the basis of system analysis, conceptual framework of Ukrainian economy development strategy was developed, the ways for solving country's socio-economic problems were outlined (see Appendix). The results of implementing the first stage of the project were positively appraised by commissions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, key specialists and scientists; they were discussed at different councils (incl. international) and were published in the press. Certain results were included into Program "Ukraine - 2010", into "The National Program for Revival of Ukraine" and were used when working out the State program for anti-crisis measures.
